Doha based Qatar Airways becomes the launching customer of the next-generation Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. In Toulouse, France, the first of these planes were delivered where the Airbus is based. Right now, Qatar has the order of total 42 A350-1000s on the way.
Qatar, also being a launch customer for Airbus A350-900, the A350-1000 includes a range of technological upgrades, like composite construction that allows for higher cabin pressure and humidity, having more temperature zones, settings of over 16 million LED Ambient lights which can help reduction of jetlag and hospital-grade HEPA filters that which helps improving the air circulation enhancing the passenger comfort.
The plane is 23 feet longer than the A350-900, which will carry 327 passengers as compared to the 283 Qatar can fit on an A350-900.
Passengers will enjoy the fact that A350-1000 also feature’s new business class Qsuites with closing doors and various combinations which can be mingled into a variety of layouts including double beds and even into four-person meeting suite.
The A350-1000 also includes economy seats in a 3 – 3 – 3 order, which are relatively spacious as compared to the overall industry.
