The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will provide area residents with summer travel policies at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). These tips will help the passengers to know more about the policies what can you carry on board and what is not. This thing will make holiday trips easier for everyone. The TSA will give advice on what is and is not allowed in carry-on bags.
These are the new Travel policies include:
- Early Airport Arrival: The passengers need to be arriving at the airport as soon as possible in the account for delays in traffic, parking, rental car returns, and air-line checking.
- Use Social Media: If you encounter issues receiving TSA Pre✓® on your boarding check or any query regarding this, then you can tweet or message AskTSA.
- Prepare For Security: Passengers need to be avoiding over bag packing because your carry-on bag and consider checking bags will make things easier. And also ensure that IDs are valid and boarding passes are readily available to speed things along.
- Follow The Liquids Rule: there are such few things like liquids, gels, aerosols, creams, and pastes must be 3.4 ounces or less. And make sure, all these containers must fit inside a single quart-sized plastic bag and be placed in a bin for carry-on baggage screening. This includes sunblock and tanning lotions.
- TSA’s Pre-check Program Benefits: Guests will also learn about the benefits of TSA’s pre-check program, which allows travelers to leave on their shoes, light outwear and belt, keep their laptop in its case, and keep size compliant liquids/gels in their carry-on bag to lessen hassle.
A temporary TSA enrollment center will be open through May 18 from 8 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 5 PM. It will be located in the Terminal B Baggage Claim area.
