At Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), Food and beverage (F&B) operator Areas has partnered to open a new Ashland Hill restaurant in Terminal 7 of Los Angeles International Airport, California.
With a menu that draws from Midwest and West Coast influences, Ashland Hill focuses on rustic, yet modern dishes. The offering also boasts a notable wine list and a full bar for cocktails and an extensive selection of local brews.
Barbara Yamamoto, chief experience officer, LAWA, said: “At LAX, we love bringing Southern California to our guests, which is why we’re so excited to welcome a local favorite, Ashland Hill, to T7. The opening is another step forward as we re-imagine how LAX can provide an exceptional guest experience.”
The space 1,000ft will remain open from 4:00 am to midnight and will be featuring hot breakfast dishes in the mornings. It will also include light fare for the rest of the day which will include sandwiches and soups. The grab and go cases will be stocked with salads and other Ashland Hill menu items such as chips and fish during peak times, unique to this location.
Sergio Rodriguez, CEO of Areas in the USA said: “There is such a unique culinary vibe throughout California, and we are excited to bring one more facet of it to LAX through Ashland Hill”. “This partnership takes food on-the-go up a notch for passengers traveling through Terminal 7.”
Opened in T7, Ashland Hill is the third concept Areas. It also operates BGrill by BOA Steakhouse and Dunkin’ Donuts.
