Delta Air Lines

The Delta airline is raising the price of alcoholic beverages by $1 beginning Dec. 1. The new prices are:

  • Domestic beer: $8
  • Craft/imported beer: $9
  • Wine: $9
  • Liquor: $9
  • Specialty cocktail: $9

The only drink price that will remain the same is sparkling wine, at $9.

Passengers buying Delta’s pricier Comfort Plus seats in economy, which include extra legroom, dedicated bin space and priority boarding, receive free beer, wine and cocktails, as do travelers in premium cabins.

Delta’s move follows increases earlier this year by Southwest Airlines and American Airlines.
