After this global pandemic, travel is resuming day by day. Due to the coronavirus restrictions airlines are adding up new safety measures for the safety of travelers.
Different airlines have different requirements as mentioned below:
United Airlines and Alaska Airlines require passengers to fill out a preflight health checklist during check-in.
There is a health and wellness agreement started by Alaska in which a traveler must verify that they haven’t had any COVID-19 symptoms in the past 72 hours or come into contact with someone who is symptomatic.
On the other hand, in United’s “Ready to Fly” checklist passengers have to confirm, that they have not had COVID-19-related symptoms in the past 14 days; been diagnosed with the virus in the past 21 days; or had close contact with someone who has COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
This policy by United took effect on Tuesday while the Alaska’s will begin June 30.
Furthermore the Frontier Airlines also asks passengers to complete a health acknowledgment form on its app or website as part of the check-in process that no one in their household has had symptoms for the past 14 days.
