Singapore Airlines Will Launch Services Of Boeing 787-10 To Delhi!

According to Singapore Airlines, it will be introducing the latest Boeing 787-10 aircraft on the New Delhi to Singapore route from October, which will replace the existing B777-200. The departure of the inaugural Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner flight will be from the New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on 28 October.

SIA was the world’s first airline to take delivery of Boeing’s newest Dreamliner variant in March 2018 according to the release and will also be the first to fly to India. The Asian carrier is operating 2 daily flights to the national capital of India presently, the one flight from which is operated by Boeing 777-200, while the other one is by the Airbus A380.

Services Of Boeing 787-10 To Delhi:

  • B787-10 will be serving SIA daily flight SQ401/402.
  • Airbus A380 aircraft will be continuing the evening daily flight SQ403/406.
  • With 337 seats in two classes, the SIA 787-10s are configured with 36 in business and 301 in the economy.
  • With personalized in-flight entertainment, the airline will be featuring fully-flat beds.
  • 52 weekly connections is offered by Singapore Airlines from six India citieslike Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata
  • SilkAir on the other hand also offers 47 weekly services from eight Indian citieslike Coimbatore, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Visakhapatnam, and Thiruvananthapuram.
  • 43 weekly connections are offered by Scoot from seven Indian citiesnamely Amritsar, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi, Lucknow and Chennai.
  • 100 destinations in 35 countries are covered by Singapore Airlines’ and SilkAir’s route network, while Scoot’s passenger route network in 18 nations is covering 66 destinations.
