Spirit Airlines will be stretching Its service from Philadelphia to Florida!

Two additional routes will soon be added by Spirit Airlines to Florida out of Philadelphia International Airport.

An announcement was made on Thursday by the low-cost carrier that it will provide seasonal, non-stop service to Fort Myers Southwest Florida International Airport and Tampa International Airport.

The Philadelphia International Airport CEO Chellie Cameron said: “This is exciting news for PHL and for travelers who look forward to escaping to sunny, warm Florida during the cold winter months. We are pleased that Spirit will be offering non-stop flights out of Philadelphia to these popular destinations and look forward to more service to more cities.”

The non-stop service to Tampa will be inaugurated on Dec. 14 and will be operating 4 days a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. American Airlines, Frontier Airlines, and Southwest Airlines are currently offering non-stop service to Tampa as well.

Launching on Dec. 13 is the Spirit’s non-stop service to Fort Myers which will be operating on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Frontier Airlines and American Airlines also have non-stop service to Fort Myers from Philadelphia.
